Club Pros will be eligible to qualify for participation in our
Club Pro Challenge one of two ways:
- Following their Local Host Site winning
teams to the National Finals - (1 Pro qualifies)
(subject to the site hosting a
minimum of 24 players)
OR
- Hosting 60 or more players total at their Local Host Site
qualifying(s) - (1 Pro qualifies) plus minimum check of $500 from Pro Pool
- Hosting 100 or more players total at their Local Host Site
qualifying(s) - (2 Pro's qualify) plus minimum check of $1000 from Pro Pool

The 2008 Club Pro National
Finals will be hosted on Oct 24th and 25th to allow our Club
Professionals a day to watch the final round of amateur play,
or play an extra round at the Paiute Golf Resort, or do both!
Amateurs will compete on
Oct 25th and 26th at the Paiute Golf Resort for the distinction
of becoming "America's Best 2 Some" for 2008.
Guidelines:
1. Club Pro invitations are non-transferable. This is an invitational
event and intended as a special thanks for special
efforts.
2. $10,000 First Place (includes minimum check). Every Club
Pro qualified will receive a check from the Pro Pool. Minimum checks may be issued in advance. The minimum check award
will be $500.
3. Club Pros who qualify automatically by hosting 60 or more players may collect their Pro Pool check after completion of their last event and without particpating in the Club Pro National Finals (their choice). Club Pros hosting 100 or more players will qualify for $1000 (plus 2 spots in the National Finals). All Club Pros with less than 60 accumulated players from their site and/or advancing by following a team are required to attend the Club Pro National Finals to receive their check.
4. Club Pros will be responsible for their own transportation
and lodging to and from the National Finals location. The official
host hotel for the Club Pro Tournament will be announced soon.
Special room rates will be available for our qualifying pros.
5. All Club Pros must be directly involved in the management
of their event and specifically named on their Local Host Site
Settlement Form.
6. Qualifying for the event is either by hosting 60 or more
players or following your team, not both. Therefore,
unless
the site hosts 100 or more players, only one Club Pro may qualify
from each Local Host Site.
7. Tournament play for Club Pros will be 36 holes stroke
play. Additional format and pairings will be determined by the
ESPN National Golf Challenge.
8. $500 Skins is a separate event on each course the Pro's
play, each day. To win a skin, the Pro must record the lowest
score on an individual hole for that day.
9. A Consolation Round or Club Pro-Am will be included for 2008. Final details will be announced during the season.
10. Local Host Sites
in 2008 are required to host a minimum of 24 players in
order for the Club Pro to be eligible to follow the team.
